Tara Farazian

Tara Farazian is board certified Marriage and Family therapist with over 15 years of experience working with adults, children and families in outpatient, inpatient, residential and private practice mental health settings. She received her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University and has since worked with clients with a wide range of concerns. Her specialties include treating adult, adolescent, and childhood trauma, terminal illness trauma, addiction, life transitions (new parents), pre-marital and divorce counseling.
Tara’s counseling style combines CBT, DBT, trauma informed, family systems, and solution focused therapy that is direct, yet collaborative. Her work revolves around a strength-based approach that empowers clients to succeed. She has worked with and understands the complexities of various psychological issues that people face. At her practice, Tara provides short term, present focused therapy focusing on very specific problems. She will work with you to develop a treatment plan that will meet your unique and specific needs.
